This month we’re focusing on the Science and Research Sector which is new to Careersbox.

If anyone is interested in science and research you can now give them real insight into what it’s like to work in these industries by playing them some of the films from the sector which you’ll find by clicking here.

There are nearly 20,000 industries, employing over 850,000 people in the sector. Therefore demand is always high for skilled engineers, technicians, scientists, researchers, process operatives and professionals as well as roles in human resources, marketing and administration so there are all sorts of avenues into the sector. In this technology-driven, fast-moving environment the careers are often well-paid and long-term, with opportunities throughout the UK and worldwide too.
